It has been an eventful year, and new events are on the agenda for this fall/winter. To recap this last year for you:

In August, a week was spent at the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen/Sunapee Fair as they celebrated their 75th Anniversary. Otto was the visiting artist for their Traveling Exhibition. More information can be found on their website: www.nhcraftsmen.org.

Otto autographed more than 180 copies of their DVD, "A League of Our Own." It showcases many craftsmen including Vivika and Otto and was viewed on PBS/New England. Copies may be purchased at the studio.

Otto also donated a $20,000 yellow glazed bottle for the League's Permanent Collection.

He was honored to have more than 50 members of the NH Antiquarian Society greet Otto early one Saturday morning for "conversation." His work was on display.

May was a busy month with a show at AMOCA (American Museum of Ceramic Art). David Armstrong's Museum and the Southern California Design Chapter asked Otto to be the guest speaker and to have 27 vessels on display. Over 500 attended this event! He donated a $25,000 vessel to AMOCA.

Olga Heino (Otto's sister) accepted Otto's Lifetime Achievement Award in New Hampshire at the League's Gala. The award is housed at his studio. Many thanks to Director Susie Stockwell, the Board and Staff.
